I have been building electric guitars and basses since 1977.

As a bassist, guitarist and woodworker I noticed the instruments of that time were full of deficiencies. After attending a Led Zeppelin concert in the mid 70's I saw bassist John Paul Jones playing custom 8 and 4 string bass guitars. I then started to build my own basses. Fellow musician friends soon began to commission instruments after playing my early instruments!

After working at Mason And Risch Pianos in Toronto in the early 1980’s I decided to move back to Ottawa and start building and repairing instruments full time.
