Construction Philosophy
Each piece of wood that goes into the construction of an instrument has it's own special characteristics. I combine only pieces that are sympathetic to each other. Wherever possible the wood is finished with materials that compliment the instruments tone and natural colour, not heavy plastic finishes that kill any sound from the wood. Each neck is hand carved from a band sawed blank, not buzzed out from a CNC cutter. Truss rods are double expanding to correct any relief. The body shapes that I have developed have come from years of experimentation and advice from players as well.
